Steve was in the fitness industry for well over a decade before he discovered Crossfit in 2007. After being more sore than he ever thought he could be after one workout,  he was completely hooked.

How had CrossFit impacted your life?

CrossFit has helped me realize, through competing, that working-out can actually be a lot of fun.

What’s your favorite and least favorite workout?

My favorite Crossfit workout is a toss-up between ‘Amanda’ and ‘King Kong’. But my least favorite by far is Fight Gone Bad. Its the only workout that I get butterflies before it starts. My favorite movement is the Squat Snatch and least is handstand pushups.

What do you do besides CrossFit?

Photography is my second passion.

Advice for Athletes New to CrossFit

Don’t try and be better than everyone else, just be your personal best and build on your current strength. Always try and have fun.
