In a recent article by  Dr. Jeff Godin, Ph.D., CSCS, and staff with The Spartan Race, a series of calculations was done to show participants the equivalent of their eating decisions in total burpee counts.

As the CFDR Fall diet challenge is coming up, has anyone thought about how some of their usual cheat foods might compare?

For example:

1 large order of French Fries= approx. 500 calories (kcals). This equates to 524 burpees for a 130 lb individual and 349 burpees for a 180 lb individual.

WHAT???  If anyone has ever tried to do 100 burpees straight, let alone 300 or 500, you know how miserable that prospect is just to balance out some delicious golden, salt seasoned joy.  I just wanted to give you some additional “food for thought” regarding your dietary decisions.
