For our first Benchmark WOD of August, we will be holding an Olympic Lifting “meet” at CFDR, singlet optional.  Similar to the CrossFit Total, lifters will get 3 attempts at the Snatch and 3 attempts at the Clean & Jerk to find their highest total for both lifts.

The O-Lifting Benchmark WOD will be held Saturday, August 3rd, starting at 9:30am.

The focus for the rest of July will be on refining your Olympic Lifts in preparation.  I also recommend taking some time to work on the lifts on your own.  15-30 perfect reps with a PVC or light barbell each day as a warm-up will go a long way in refining your technique.

If you have trouble recovering out of the bottom of the clean, work on your front squats!

then

30 Double Unders
10 Burpees
