Its easy to be skeptical about the idea that anyone can do crossfit…the elite athleticism that’s displayed at events like the Crossfit Games could make anyone shy away from what appears to be a highly competitive, hardly attainable level of fitness.  The truth about Crossfit, however, is that it’s not about being better than everyone else, it’s about being YOUR personal best, and building on your current strength.  Every Crossfit workout can and should be tailored, or “scaled”, to your fitness level, and success is based on progress, not perfection or starting as the best.  As long as you’re willing to learn the correct form in order to perform movements safely, and you give yourself the space to begin from a realistic starting point, you cannot fail at Crossfit, you can only get better.  The most important thing to remember behind safety is to have a good time.
