In the past, we have used the second half of August and early September to focus and train for FGB.  In lieu of the FGB/CrossFit HQ drama, we will hold our own “Charity Challenge” here at CFDR instead of participating in FGB.

The date for our first annual “Charity Challenge” will Sunday, October 14th.  We’ll start at 10AM and go roughly until noon, celebrating the event with a BBQ after.  The workout for the event will not be announced until the day of.  However, starting the week of September 7th we will begin training for the event every Friday up to the date of the challenge.  And to make it interesting, each Friday we will release hints about the format of the main event(s).

The challenge will be a partner challenge and have a $20 buy-in/participant.  Sign-up in the lounge.  We will release more info as we get closer to the date.
