Today marks the start of the 2011 Reebox CrossFit Games.  It’s simple…. 6 WODs in 6 weeks, top 60 men and women from each region around the world go on to compete in Regionals.  The first workout of the Open will be announce today.  We will be doing the Open workouts at the gym each week during our Saturday morning class.  Each workout must be judge to make sure all reps are completed and full ROM is achieved.   I would encourage everyone to register on the Games home page.  You WILL be doing the workouts, you might as well log your results online and see how you stack up against the rest of the world.

If athletes are interested, they are holding Sectional Style Competitions at Patriot CrossFit in Arlington every Saturday.  I would love to pick a date and take the whole group down to expirence the atomsphere of this type of competition.  I think the 2nd week of the Open would work great, that would be Satuday the 26th.  If you are interested in going please let me know.  We’ll do our best to get everyone through these workouts, unfortanetly the timing with the new box is a bit crazy.
